Tim,
I appreciate the extended loan of the Synchestra Signature cables to give me time for break-in and to form a fair and objective opinion to the best of my experience and ability. In summary, the salient attributes of these cables is they are very fast, detailed, focused and without smear or coloration. They are extremely neutral with the ability to extract subtle information. The connectors are as fine of non-locking RCAs as I've likely encountered.
In comparison to top-line other branded cables (several considerably more costly than the $399 Synchestra Signature), the Signatures are typically not as expansive in their sound staging, especially on dynamic, large scale orchestral music vs. the other brands in my system. The focus and neutrality of the Sig is quite engaging. Their compatibility and performance with my phono circuit extracted a lot of detail and nuance.
In conclusion, they have way more attributes than any shortcomings. Personal taste, program material and components in the end will likely govern the performance and pleasure gained from these cables which compare quite favorably with some of the best on the market.
Thank you again,
Chuck Bruce
