ALLEGRO JR. is a high quality 22-gauge, solid-core 99.997% (4/9s) OFC copper, polypropylene dielectric insulation, multi-purpose digital/video interconnect. Shielding is 95% copper braid with a 100% aluminized mylar wrap. This construction provides for a very low noise, high performance video cable. Terminations are gold-plated RCA connectors custom-designed to our spec.  

The cable is not directional. However, it is imprinted with an arrow at one end for reference and should remain in that direction once broken-in.

ALLEGRO JR. is meticulously hand assembled to provide excellent performance. Bending 90 degrees or more will damage conductors and compromise the 75 ohm reference impedance. Avoid cable runs close to AC cords. If they must cross,90-degree crossing is recommended. Care in handling and dressing will enhanceand preserve the sonic capability of your cable. 

ALLEGRO JR. reaches optimal performance after a “burn-in” period of at least 200 hours. Suitable burn-in tools are a dynamic/wide bandwidth CD, MOBIE, etc. CDs made for the purpose are available through audio dealers. These options provide nearly 95% of the signal necessary for ultimate cable performance. Expect maximum response within 30 days. 

ALLEGRO JR. is a unique 75 ohm interconnect which will work equally well with digital and video signals. The full shield provided by the aluminized mylar will allow the ALLEGRO JR. to be run in 50+ foot lengths without being susceptible to emi/rfi interference.
